Ein Motorradhändler einer ambitionierten und gut plazierten Marke begeht feierlich an einem Sonntag am Ende des März die „Saisoneröffnung“. Wie viele Freunde der Marke und des Fabrikats fahre ich, mit meinem selbigen Zweirad und meinen Erwartungen dorthin. Das Wetter ist durchwachsen, es ist ein gewisser Grad an Enthusiasmus und etwas Mut für nasse, schmutzige Straßen nötig. Dort, nach 65 Kilometern durchaus erhebender Fahrt (ich gestehe, ich habe auch bei gelegentlichen Schauern noch Spaß am Zweirad) stelle ich fest das ich der Einzige bin der mit dem Motorrad anreiste (!). Dies bizarre Moment macht mich, trotz der evidenten Kongruenz zum Zeck der Übung zum Außenseiter, was mir sofort auch ein sozialer Gruppendruck bedeutet … „Normal“ ist eine statistische Funktion! Ein nach mir eintreffender junger Motoradfahrer begreift es schneller, er stoppt blickt in die Runde und fährt von dannen und hilft mir damit meine Auto-matisch erworbenen Aussenseiterstatus voll zu realisieren und aufzubrechen. Auf zwei Rädern meinem eigenen Zwecken entgegen.
